I'd say yay, but am probably in the minority on that.

It's no where near as good as the book, but as long as you aren't expecting cinematic gold, I think you'll enjoy it.

Finished the first book, figured I could watch the movie and then eventually make my way back to the library for the second book.  I don't imagine I'll be able to find the second book until November 20th when the second movie comes out.  lol

I just watched it for the millionth time on the plane yesterday.  I say yay!  Plus, Edward is nice to look at.  I know it was in our redbox the week it came out but not sure if they carry it anymore since it's been out a while.

If you haven't read the book, then go for it. If you have read the book, it's a waste because it's NOTHING like the book.

We own it now.  I rented it a few months ago, and the babes happened to be in a horrible mood for some reason.  I put it in for a distraction and the second it started they both stopped crying and watched it for a solid 15 minutes before remembering they were upset.  It's still my go-to movie when I'm feeding one and the other starts crying because it's not their turn yet.  It gets played at least 2-3 times a week around here because it's the only thing that will keep the unfed one from screaming their head off.  LOL

lol  Yeah it was an easy read, and entertaining.  But I seriously want to punch Bella in the head.  lol  But I figure I have nothing better to do today and Em will more than likely take another long nap this afternoon so I want to have something fun to watch.

Only if you want to see the second one. I have a glimmer of hope the second one will be half way decent now that it has a good director and bigger budget. The first one quite frankly sucked hard core.

SInce you have read the book you will probably be incredibly diappointed and maybe even irriated. I was ticked personally. They completely ruined it (I wont even start on that or I will never shut up lol). That said, I still own it simply for what it represents and I bought it before I saw it for the first time. If I had known how horrible it was in comparison I probably would not have bought it. New Moon is supposed to be much better though. So of course I will go see it
