anyone have kota the (ginormous) triceratops?

DH apparently found one for $80 and wants to buy it for DS for christmas.  the reviews look pretty good, but i'd love to hear firsthand experiences...

WDYT?  worth it?  i think it's usually around $300...

Yes!  Zach LOVES IT.  We have to hold him on top of Kota, but he understands that he has to hold the handle and then he looks like he's riding a horse when you start the music part of it.

He pets him, "feeds" him his leaf and roars at it to make it roar.  Best thing we've ever gotten for him

I know J+O has one, I remember seeing it in her siggy.  I think she posts here in the evening or on the photography board.

i *thought* j+o had one, but i wasn't sure.  i think i remember she said her DS was scared of it (at first, at least)....i wonder if he got used to it.  i'll have to page her if she doesn't see this.

Totally worth it!!  We found one at Target last year clearanced out so we got it for DS.  He LOVES it!  It's so interactive that he'll play with it for a long time.  Typical boy- he cracks up when you feed the dino and he burps   The only down side is the size.  It's big!  It takes quite a few D batteries too(although they have lasted quite a long time- we have yet to replace them).
