Thoughts on this?

In the past week or so, DD has been spitting up like crazy-mostly right after she eats. Yesterday when I was home with her after I fed her one time she sat on my lap and moaned and groaned with her mouth hanging open and gagging (sort of like dry heaving) for about 5-10mins-she then spit up twice and the moaning, etc stopped. She was doing it again tonight but never spit up and eventually the moaning stopped. I have no idea if she has a stomach bug or if she's intolerant to something. It's just odd that its been happening this past week-there's nothing new I've been eating so I'm stumped. Any ideas?

Poor thing. It may be gas that's bothering her until it's out. Does it seem like she's drinking faster than before? DS would get horrible gas and spit-up issues when he was a baby until I switched the bottles we were using (he was formula-fed). Turns out he was taking in too much air when he was feeding. If you're nursing, it maybe helpful to talk with someone at your pedi's office who is knowledgeable about breastfeeding that may be able to able to figure it out for you.
