(Nov. 10) - James Ng had the
proposal all planned ? a surprise hot air balloon ride on Oct. 29 and a
one-carat diamond engagement ring he had saved a year to buy.
The 26-year-old pastor of a
small church in Geauga County, Ohio, even hid the ring in a box, which he put
into his camera case. But it was Ng who was surprised when the camera case fell
from his hands, dropping into the woods of West Branch State Park 500 feet
below, reported local TV station
WKYC. Ng proposed anyway. Once on the
ground, he began to search for the ring, and, after seven days of searching, he
and a friend found the camera bag with the ring inside.
"I never thought in a million
years we'd find it," his fiancee Sonya Bostic told WKYC.
To complete the miracle, Ng
proposed again, this time with the ring.
