Im irked

Okay...so I need to be rational but I am still pissed. 

So we are trying to buy the house we live in.  Super.  Everything is going great.  We needed to get the well water tested.  It came back as unsafe.

WTF.  Needless to say it is getting the chlorine flush by the plumer as we speak, but still...I am irked.

How long has it been this bad?  No idea.  Could the bacteria that was found in the well water cause our fertility issues.  Possibly.  It may not be the root cause but its not helping thats for sure. 

Apparently this flush needs to happen like once a year.  According to the plumer and the lab, so we will be doing this once a year along with getting the well water tested.   

So its not a HUGE deal, but it is a huge deal to me.  I just dont know how to approach them about me being upset about this. 

Maybe its not the landlords responsibility, but to me, it would be.

that would definitely be the landlord's responsibility but I'm not real sure what you can do about it now. Maybe you could get them to reduce the price of the house as a result but maybe not.

yeah...its not that big of a deal now.  We are not paying for the testing or the flush, but still...it frustrates me to no end.

The town I used to live in had that problem because one of their pumps crapped out. Basically the whole town is boiling any water they drink. Still safe to shower in.
