Need opinions regarding a trip

My aunt has asked me to go with her to Sacramento 12/16-12/20. ?She would pay my airfare and cover the rental car. ?I work for a major hotel chain, so I have that part covered. ?My mom would watch the kids while my husband is at work and the $ I earn from my job is my money, it does not go into our joint account, so I would have money to spend, I would just have to be frugal in January. ?Would you go on this a week before Christmas? ?My husband said that is his only concern....thoughts?

BTW...I have traveled many times before with her and we get along great so that is not a concern. ?

No, because what's in Sacramento? It's not a place that comes to mind for vacation. If it were San Francisco or something then maybe. But, I don't know, maybe you really want to go to Sacramento for some reason?
