Question. On your pumpkin cookies: did your oatmeal still have a slight crunch to it when they were done?

I halved the recipe but still did one egg...but my oatmeal has a bit of an awkward crunch to it in some of them. Was just curious. I've never noticed it in my other cookies but it may be because the texture is different since they dont' have as much oatmeal in them so its random and has an overall "cakier" texture.

Nope, no crunchies in mine.  They do tend to be a softer cookie though.

Hmmmm...I still have half the dough at home in the fridge since I only had time to bake up two panfuls. I'll play with the baking times.

The taste is good and they were a big hit here. I'm going to try them again with Raisens and nuts instead of choco chips but I want to figure out the oatmeal thing. Maybe my oatmeal is stale.
