What can I do better? I want it simple but it may need something!

Take out the ship and put a treasure map?? Antique it a little.. Help?!!!??!!

How about "burning" the edges of the photo?  I like the ship!

Maybe burning is the wrong term.  You can make it look like burned with a lighter around the edges and that would give it a mappy look.

I think it is spelled "scallywag" and I think there's a typo in the last line. ((NM, it is fine, the font threw me)) 

I like the ship.  I wonder how the photo would look at an angle?  But maybe that's stupid.

Looks cute! I like burning the edges idea.  It would be cool to roll it up like a pirates map with a string around it.  Might be a pain for mailing though.

it's adorable!  and I like the antique idea.  i also like the red around the pix idea.  something about the red lettering needs more red tied in.  Did you try black lettering or a combo? 

honestly if i got it in the mail, i'd never be like oh maybe this should have been...it's too cute for that.  and that's a great pix to use, esp if you already had that one and didn't have to take more in his pirate garb.

funny thing is sean was a fireman for halloween and i am totally doing the fireman party for his 3rd bday in December because i already have the pictures!
