WTH, UPS?

I ordered a Kindle yesterday, and I'm DYING for it to get here.  I ordered four different things, and they're in three different boxes.  None of them were supposed to get here until tomorrow, but the two boxes that don't have the Kindle say they're out for delivery.  Go figure, the Kindle box still only says billing information received.  WTF, I don't care about the other stuff, I want the Kindle!

Unfortunately, I have an appointment at 4 today, and the UPS guy usually comes 4-5, so I'll probably miss him anyway, so it may not matter.  It better be here tomorrow, though!

I used to work for FedEx, and as long as it wasn't signature required you could leave a note and ask to have it left on front/back/neighbor's porch if you're not there..... or if worse comes to worse you can call the 1-800 number and politely make a req if they are in the area to come by at a later/earlier time...

No can do.  I live on one of the busiest streets in Boston with people walking past my door at least once per minute.
