I forgot to tell ya'll about the latest car issue. You know DH's car got hit by the landscapers on Monday? yea..nice..busted taillight and paint damage.

Today on the way to work my windshiled wipers start getting sluggish and my battery light comes on. I almost started crying because I thought my car was going to die in the middle of the road with no where to pull off with this crazy windy rain.

All of a sudden it was like someone flicked a switch and my car powered back up and was normal. The mechanics here said I probably got water splashed up around a sensor or something since we have major ponding on the roads/ some flooding and my car pretty much sits on the ground.

You can spit and it will hydroplane. For Realz. I'm ( ) this close to trading my car in.

Eek, be careful!  Shiit like this is a major reason I refuse to move to the suburbs.  I don't want to deal with car issues!

Take it in, get it looked at.

Trust me - breaking down on the highway is not a fun thing to deal with.

ugh buckin - we had a car that was like that which we finally traded in last year and got a new one. Totally the best decision we ever made (but I have to remind myself that every month when the $400 car payment comes due).

Yea..that's the issue Anna. This one is just 6 months from being paid off and it has been an excellent car. We are planning on trading it before baby comes (and had actually started the process when we found out about the M/C) but were waiting till spring (now that I'm not pregnant) so I can get a higher return (since its convertible) and have more equity in it for a down payment..but uggh to driving it one more winter!

that sucks. I know how pretty your car is, but I'd be terrified to drive it up here. My brother has a saleen and he's looking for another car to use in the winter.
