Dh called his grandmother for her birthday yesterday. She knows about our losses and had shared with us that she had 3 stillborns and 2 mc's between having Dh's uncle and FIL (5yrs difference). She shared with us that even after 45yrs she still thinks about the little girls that she had but never not to raise. Which really made me feel good.
Okay so here's the silly part.
She asked DH if we started trying again or if it was too soon. When he said yeah we were working on it but just at the mercy of my wacked out cycles her response was, "well then boy you need to get to it every night! Doesn't matter how tired you are, that's the only way to tell the body you mean business!!" Then she giggled for about 5 minutes. Mind you she's a very meek church lady so to hear that come out of her made DH laugh for hours....hehe!
So the advice of an older woman who has been where we are is to "just get to it every night" lol

hehe! I had a similar experience, but with my boss! (Mind you, she's a 75 year old woman.) We were in the middle of a work function and she still didn't know about the m/c. She asked how far along I was and I had to tell her in front of everyone. It was so uncomfortable for both of us and then she responded, "We'll at least it's fun to practice!" then grabbed my hand and winked! I seriously blushed for like an hour!
