I'm a lurker on here, I have introduced myself before but I think thats it.

I have been waiting to ask this in hopes someone else would but I have not seen it, so here it goes!

My fiancee and I are not yet TTC so I have not read TCOYF  but my problem is that the end of may we decided that I should stop taking BCP, my AF came as normal in June, skipped July and then came what would be normal in August..... I have not had it again! That is 14 weeks and 3 days.... is that somewhat normal? I have POAS (both pink and blue) and it says negative.

Yeah, it's normal to have wonky cycles after bcp.  Mine are about 60 days, and I've been off since January. Good luck!

They usually say to see your doctor if your cycle is longer than 60 days. So I would say you might want to call your doc.

if you don't have AF after 60 days you are supposed contact your doctor. so i think you should call your doctor and see what they have to say. there could be other problems going on.

It can take a long time for your cycles to regulate after BCP.  But since it has been such a long time, you should talk to your doctor.  They can give you something to stimulate your period.

And in the meantime, read TCOYF... or at least do the tutorials on Fertility Friend.

 Technically, if you are ttc, you should call your doctor if you haven't gotten AF after 60 days.  My last cycle was 57 days, this one is not shaping up to look any better.  But we're TTA and I'm BFing, so I really don't care when AF comes.

Cycles can be long coming off BCP. I'll *hopefully* be starting my first in 2 weeks.
