Babies on the Brain

Another thing

My mom died in a car accident. It was so hard cause it was like surprise your mom is gone. We didnt get to say good-by. Now seeing the change in my dad in the 11 few weeks I dont want to watch him like this and in pain. We will be able to say by but how do you say good by to your dad forever? Sorry for rambling but thanks for listening.

  • Im so sorry hun.  I wished I could give you an IRL hug. ::hugs::
Not sure what direction we are headed. Either way, I am up for the ride.
  • Just read your other post and wanted to tell you how sorry I am.  I went through a similar situation in that my dad had cancer and never talked about it or told me how bad it was until 3 months before he passed.  If you ever want to chat, just PM me.  ::hugs::

  • i've never lost a parent, so I can't even imagine what you're going through.  I've lost a grandmother that i was very close to and that was very hard...but i remember her in little ways all the time and i really do think she's with me a lot.  ((hugs))  my thoughts are with your guys tonight...

  • You don't.  You don't say goodbye forever, and you don't treat it like these are his final days.  At least, that's my opinion.  I would want to keep it as normal, upbeat, and enjoyable for him as well as the family. Come see him daily, bring him his favorite things, watch TV with him... whatever.  Make memories you'll always remember.

My heart is hurting for you!
