Saw the heartbeat

We went in for our second ultrasound today at 6w 4d and the baby is measuring 6w 2d. The heartbeat was 111 but she said that's because it probably just started beating. We go back next week to make sure the heartbeat has gotten stronger.

It was the most amazing thing ever. I'm only slightly worried about the heart rate but also glad to get another ultrasound next week for reassurance before we tell the families next Friday.

Congrats! I wish I could see the heartbeat...DH and Doctor said they did, but Doc ran out of the room before he gave me a number...i was kinda bummed.

Thats so exciting!! I heard mine for the first time today with a doppler, and I was thrilled about that, but I wish I could see it. I dont get an ultrasound until 20 weeks. Congrats!!
