f/u to Dollar store test post

So curiousity got the best of me, which I'm sure most of you knew it would.  I took another $tree test and a faint line popped up right away, so I then take a digital clearblue easy and got a negative.  I assume the digital maybe - since its the middle of the day?  Just want your opinion.  Why do I do this to myself?  I'll know for sure in a few days if I miss AF, I have no self control.

Digitals are often significantly less sensitive than line tests.  Just try to chill out for a couple of days and test again.

I took 8 digitals (in addition to the dollar store tests) and they all showed up positive except for the 2 Clear Blue Tests. Try another brand and take it in the morning.

I took one Thursday evening, even knowing how early it was, because was feeling so crampy.   I was surprised by a faint line.  I went and got a digital and it said 'not pregnant'.  Friday morning, I took another line test and got faint line.  Saturday morning, I took a digital and was 'pregnant' and also another one on Sunday morning with the same results.  I think it was just too early for the digital.  Wait another few days and try again.

I got a very very faint positive on day 28 on an ept test and a neg on first response.  I was reassured by my sisters that a line is a line, a line isn't going to show up on any test unless you have hCG, which you won't have unless you are pregnant.  I tried days later and got strong +'s on both.  Congrats!

I was suprised to get a line on any of my tests cause I took them all during the afternoon at 10dpo.

They are right. If you can't wait until morning then stop drinking and peeing for 4 hours and test again. Dollar tree tests are sensitive to 25mIU of HCG where as a CBE digital is 50 mIU

This is why I don't like the advice to get a digital. 

I had a suuuuper faint $ Tree test and then got FRER and got my bfp, even mid day.  I would suggest one of those since they can detect the smallest amounts.

How many DPO are you, do you know?  Digital tests are not sensitive at all in comparison to other tests... the accuracy rate goes up with each day you wait, and if you test on the day of expected AF, with clearblue easy anyway (thats what I used), the results are 99% (if you have a standard cycle and you are at least X amt of DPO). 

Relax, a line is a line, take a digital in a couple days, or on the day AF is supposed to be here.  It's hard to wait, but patience is a virtue
