1st Trimester

Would you call?

I'm still spotting. It's a touch heavier than it was last week, but still brown and not enough to get on my underwear...just when I wipe.

The doctor said to call if the bleeding turned red or I had cramps, neither of which is the case, but I'm worried. I'm so glad I am working from home today and that I decided to reschedule my appointments.

Re: Would you call?

  • Have you been spotting for a whole week? I would maybe call....Although I have never had spotting so I dont know what amount is safe and what is not.

  • I would. I had it at 7weeks and the doc did an u/s and saw the HB but told me to lay off having sex :) I hope all is well
  • yes, only because they may want to figure out why you're spotting if it's been happening for a week
  • The spotting stopped for a couple of days and then started up again. Today is the worst it has been.

  • I would call your doctor. Maybe they can get you in for an u/s.

  • I would call.  It would just be better for both of you for you not to worry.  Spotting is very common, but it causes unnesasry stress.  Good Luck and let us know how it goes.
  • give them a call, thats what they are there for! Mine said to call as many times as I wanted too; that they will do everything in their power to keep lo and I healthy throughout this 9 months!!
  • Definitely call. It is better to be safe (and paranoid) than sorry!

    good luck!
