Has anyone had a swollen lymph node behing their ear (at the top of your jaw line).  I just noticed it today and of course I'm freaking out.  My friend said its prabaly a sign of infection, but I'm not sick..at least I don't think I am.  I was hoping to test next week since I rounding the end of my 2ww and now I am going to visit the family doc.   Too many DR's visits anymore!!

I have one on the back of my neck that is almost always enlarged.

I've had it looked at a couple times and the Dr has always told me that as long as it always gets small again, or if it just stays the same, then it's fine.

He said I should have it checked if it starts growing and just keeps getting bigger.

An enlarged lymph node isn't always cause for alarm, but anything new you notice you should get checked out so you know.

Not really..I only noticed it cause I felt it.  I am having pain in my left ear so who knows.  ugh..

Could be an infection if there's ear pain... def. worth being checked out by a dr. though.

Yes ... and it went away after a few days. I'd give it a week, if its not gone by then, get it checked out.

I had one once in the same spot - I went to the doctor and they said I was ok.  I think it started to bother me more because I got paranoid and always touched it - but once the doc told me I was ok - I forgot about it and it went away.
