sigh (vent about complaining pg woman mentioned)

I moved cubicles recently and now have a bunch of new "neighbors." One of my new neighbors is like 8.5 months pregnant. And now all. I. hear. is how it "sucks" and she's so miserable and fat (she's not, it's an adorable baby bump and that's it). The first time, okay, whatever. The second time I hear it, a little bit more annoying, but I can bite my tongue. Times three through thirty-five, very annoying.

And just now, I went to go microwave my lunch, and who walks into the kitchen? Yeah, so I say hi and we talk about the weather. I think, alright, this might be okay. But then, the conversation lulls so I ask when she's due. She answers and then goes on about how miserable she is and can't wait for it to be over. I just say nothing, smile at the floor, and go back to my desk.

Next time she says she's fat, tell her "I noticed! Are you having triplets, and just didn't want to say anything?"

Ick. Sorry you have to deal with that. At least you won't have to deal with her in 2 weeks. Hopefully she takes a long maternity leave before she comes back and complains about how tired she is because her baby kept her up all night.

Sorry you got moved next to pg lady... Sounds like she is just dying to tell everyone what a martyr she is for caring her baby.. My advice, since she is not your friend...avoid her like the plague and don't ask anything baby related.

Oh, geez, I forgot about that part! I know it's going to happen, too. Maybe she'll decide to be a SAHM and won't come back....
