I just ordered my copy of TCOYF, and while waiting for it to arrive, I found "What to Expect Before You're Expecting." at the bookstore. I figured why not give it a shot, it never hurts to know to much about TTC.
Needless to say I'm not impressed, everything in the book I have learned from you ladies and other boards. ![]()
I'm anxioulsy waiting for TCOYF for some real information!
Re: What to expect BEFORE you're Expecting?
The whole What to Expect series kinda sucks.
agreed (at least on the while expecting -- everything in there scares the crap out of you, and doesn't really give much info . . )
Kelz: or others that have LOs = how about what to expect in first year, etc? I've heard those are better?
I hate the WTE series with the fire of a thousand suns.
Bloggin' It
I only had What to Expect when You're Expecting...I heard the others weren ok, but I went with the Dr. Sears baby book and really liked it.
I highly recommend Dr. Sears for everything pregnancy and baby related. Some don't like him since he can be a bit pro attachment parenting, but I'm not really into a lot of attachment parenting practices and I thought his books were incredibly helpful and informative.
thx. don't you love I'm asking for advice on having a one year old, and am not even pg. ugh!
