it depends on how many hostesses for me. But my last shower I got the 4 hostesses a philosophy set and lip gloss from VS. It was about $40/each

For one hostess...$50.

I had 4 showers total and 3 of them only had one hostess.  One I had flowers delivered to her and took her out to lunch.  She is not a "spa" person and she is single and wouldn't dine alone anywhere.  The other two I got the gift cards to their favorite restaurant.

I had a work shower and there were several hostesses so I just brought in a huge plate of homemade cookies (3 different kinds) with a thank you note attached.

Funny...how they all revolve around food!

For one host: $75.  I got her a gift set from Sephora.

I have like 6 people going in on my shower ... so I got each one an ornament with their names engraved ...

For my first LO, I had 4 hostesses so I got them all PJ's ($20) and then gave them a coupon for unlimited belly rubs!  Since I was the first out of my friends to be preggers, everyone got a kick out of rubbing the belly which I wasn't fond of...so they all loved the coupon! 

For my 2nd LO, a couple of friends threw me a little tea party so I just got them some cool reusuable shopping bags.  It wasnt' anything big but they appreciated it.
