We're home visiting my parents for Christmas, and looking for some fun things to do with DS (who will be 18 months). I've never thought about toddler-friendly things to do in the area. Is he too young for the Science centre? Are there any indoor play areas? What else might be good?
Thanks! ![]()
Re: Toddler friendly activities in Balt area?
the aquarium, port discovery, the railroad museum, there use to be a fun play area in towson mall but i dont know if it is still there, there might be good IMAX movies at the science center
On Nov. 22nd, there's a special activity called something like Baby Loves Disco at the Reicher Theater (Near the circle/mall/amc theater). They have a live DJ and it's basically like a nightclub to let kids have fun and dance.
It looks really cool!

We took DS to Playwise VIllage in Columbia. HUGE indoor play center. DS absolutely loved it!

There is a play area in Towson Town Mall and one in Columbia mall too, I believe. Storyville is a great place to go. The Science Center is nice, the Aquarium too but the Aquarium you can't take strollers in, you can rent backpacks to wear your child.
