Bath toys question

Has anyone had success cleaning soap scum/white pasty residue off of bath toys or should I just throw them away and buy new ones?

Re: Bath toys question

  • Did you try vinegar?? That seems to help.?
    .
  • I've used Dow Scrubbing Bubbles (I just spray it on and rinse them down right in the tub).  Wonder if they can go in the dishwasher?
  • Loading the player...
  • Depends on the toy & how long the scum has accumulated

Cheap toys (as long as they are not favorites) I toss
Better toys can either be scrubbed/soaked with clorox clean up, top shelf dish washer, or washed in the washing machine on cold with some towels (do not dry)

I hate the squirt toys that fill with some black funk eventually .... & as luck would have it these are still some of DS favorites... for those soak in hot bleach water & repeatedly suck the water in, shake, squirt, watch the most fowl crap come out, repeat until water expelled is clean

Gosh I have too much time on my hands :OI
