Is your 4.5 yo old "afraid" of things?

My oldest used to love Scooby Do and the movie Monster House. He recently started telling me that he is afraid of the space kook from Scooby and hides under blankets. No more Scooby for him! Normal? I find it so funny.

I took dd to Disney at age 1 and 2.  Dd loved all the rides.  We went this year at age 3 1/2 and she was so afraid that we really didn't do too many rides.  Today we went to Disney Live and she said she was glad that we didn't go to Disney on Ice because the whale ate Pinnochio.  So to answer your question, yes.  Dd is afraid of bearded men, witches and a few other things.

Tonight I was up in his room (we were alone) I heard a strange noise in the house & realized I forgot to set the alarm, I asked him to be  quiet, he was for a second & then said "I am not afraid I am a super hero & I will protect us"
