Winter coats?

Am I the only one having a hell of a time finding a maternity type winter coat? All the coats I've seen have buttons or zippers all the way down and I'm getting really frustrated. Anyone know where I might be able to find an actual winter coat that will actually be able to close when I'm 7-9 months pregnant?

oldnavy is having a sale online....i am going to the store today to see if they have any so i can try it on....if not i will order online

I went to Timmonium and they had nothing but a sign for the maternity coat.  :-(

You may want to try the Old Navy in Arundel Mills.  My mom just purchased a sweater coat for me from ON...that's what I'll wear.  I'm so frickin hot...I don't need a coat...but I'm sure I will as it gets colder.

From what I remember, most of the Old Navys took out all their maternity wear and you can only get it online now.  I got a coat from there last year and loved it!

I got mine from Old Navy on-line.  I just ordered it 1 size up from my normal shirt size.  (Because I LOVE to wear sweaters.)  I got the camel colored one that has 3 buttons, which stop right at the top of the belly.  I LOVE the coat.  It is a bit too big at the moment, b/c I am only 4 months along. 

The Timonium store had them.  Only a few were left when I was there a couple weeks ago and they only had plain black.

I was in Motherhood Maternity at White Marsh mall last week and they had a few to choose from. Every one I saw had buttons that stopped at the top of the belly.

I have had no luck finding anything at the Old Navy in Timonium, but the selection at oldnavy.com is really good.  Going to Target has also been a complete bust, but target.com has a decent selection of maternity outerwear, and very reasonably priced.  Good luck!

Target has cape-like coats with a big button at the top and they were a little longer than waist length.  I didn't try them on but they looked like they would be good for late in pregnancy.  Hopefully your bump will be covered and stay warm!!

I just ordered one online at Old Navy.  It's not a very exciting coat -- black & puffy -- but am hoping it will do the job.  The Old Navy website lets people review the clothes -- this one seemed pretty good for later  in a pregnancy.

I wasn't very happy with the quality of the coats at target. Though I think they'll do if I'm desperate. I don't mind paying a little more for something good if I really like it...I plan on having more kids, so while I refuse to spend an arm and a leg, I don't want anything that's poorly made :-/
