Any good blog or make your own website suggestions?

We would like to start a blog or a website for our baby to keep friends and relatives informed.  Does anyone have good suggestions for sites theyve used or seen?  Thanks.

i use shutterfly-as does our daycare and 2 other friends.   free to upload the pictures and free to set up the "share site."  plus my parents or others can order photos for themselves.   very nice.

I use Blogger for myself and have one reserved for LO on his own for when he's here. It's connected to my main site and I can make it so only friends & family may view it.

 

**ETA: I can also include photos in my blog posts.

I use blogger for myself, but we are going to do Shutterfly or SnapFish for our baby girl's arrival!

We use freewebs.com -- it has a lot of neat website features.  You can make a "homepage" as well as a blog, photo gallery, and any type of other pages you'd like.  It's also very easy to use.

My father set up a shutterfly page after our wedding.  Everyone loves it and loves having the ability to download their own pics to it.  We plan on doing the same for LO.

I'm pretty lazy, so I use Google.  It's really user friendly and allows me to invite only the people that I want to see the website.

I use blogger as well. It's really to integrate different widgets for photo slide shows and has good privacy settings. I'd highly recommend.
