hormonal and disappointed

We have about 5 weeks and change before we have our baby, so yesterday when DH was off work, I left a note for him asking him to plan something fun for us to do today.  I didnt care what it was, but something where we could just pick up and go (since that won't be happening once the kid gets here).

He planned nothing.  I ended up deciding I'd like to go a local zoo up here and then to a bar (I made all the plans).  Now its 9:30 and he's still asleep.

Ah, I'm sorry.. It seems sometimes my DH doesn't understand stuff like this either. His life hasn't change physically, but mine has. And when I have good days and feel good, I want to do something! Like you said, we are running out of time where we can just go (without bags, strollers, kids, etc). Hope you still have a great day!

I'm so sorry!

My DH did something similar to me last night. Our son was at grandma's and I bought a new video game that I wanted to play with DH but he kinda took over got too into it and ended up making me mad. A night in the house without a kid is rare for us now and will be an after thought soon and he goes and ruins it.

I hope your DH wakes up and makes your day perfect!

I can sympathize.  I have 3 full weekends left, and DH is hunting this weekend and next.  I don't want to complain (to him - to you guys it's fine ) because this will be his last time to do that without more family obligations.  But seriously, can't we hang out some??
