I DESPISE Target.com!!!!!!!!!!

I used my 10% off registry completion code today in the store and you can use it as many times as you want in-store and on-line within the same day. Since a few of my items were out of stock at the store I went to and some are only available on-line, I decided to place an order tonight. Well, the site was saying there was an error with my gift cards. I called and the rep told me the balances and said they should be fine. So I called to place my order over the phone. I had to call 3 times before I could get someone who's accent wasn't so thick that I could understand them. And no I don't believe your name is Jason when I am probably calling India and you barely speak english! Then the Target.com rep tells me my gift cards are not valid. As if several different people gave me empty gift cards? Riiight. So I finally get the order to go through online but they want to charge me $37 s&h for 5 items! So I take off the bathtub and it goes down to $17 s&h which means they were going to charge me $20 s&h for a $17.99 item! So the remainder of the items were small and light: boppy cover, bassinet sheets and changing pad cover. $17 s&h for that??? Unbelievable! So I did not place the order and will be getting that stuff at Walmart. I guess I will save my Target gift cards for diapers. Ugh.

I actually had a very similar experience trying to order online with them and using gift cards. One minute it was showing up fine, another invalid. Same situation when I called too. Didn't leave me feeling very confident in them at all.

I have never ordered from target.com but that is some crazy asss shipping!

And don't even get me started about the guest service reps from India...

Target shipping is ridiculous! I am only registered right now to keep track of things I want to get DS #2 (we kept everything from DS #1 so we need almost nothing) but for sure I'll wait for free shipping offers before I buy the stuff. I don't know how they get away with it.

Did you change the shipping to the snail mail? I'm pretty sure it's set up to ship priority or something like that which of course is really expensive.
