At my 31 week appt LO was still sideways- but I have a few weeks for him to get head down. But another question- if he doesn't flip head down- will he still "drop"?
The baby can drop anytime between a few weeks to a few minutes before you go into labor. The nurse that taught my labor class said first time moms usually drop a couple weeks before, while second and third (etc) usually drop right before/during labor.
I asked this when I was 30 weeks too. The baby was "breech" and then sideways and now at about 36 weeks he's head down and REALLY low. The doc did an internal and was like "oh there he is - he's really low. He might not wait until induction day" so there's definitely still time! It's all up to him or her :-)
Re: Baby "dropping"
LOL.. I just asked this same question in another thread.
At my 35wk check-up yesterday doc announced that LO's head has started to drop.

Good luck!
I'm just trying to make sense of things :-)
