Weird pain in my throat chest

I have this feeling that I swallowed something and it stopped have way down my throat. Now every time I swallow it hurts really bad. It also makes my chest hurt and kept me awake most of the night. Is this just really bad indegestion?

    That sounds like heartburn.  I have been lucky to not have that, but I hear it is awful.  Sorry!

    Sounds like bad heartburn or indigestion. Try some tums or soda, to help you burp. If it gets worse I would call your doctor. Hope you feel better soon.

    Yup, I get this every couple of days. It's heartburn. Take tums; milk soothes your esophagus too.

    I have had heartburn off and on throughout but I guess it is just getting really bad. I am semi lactose so i can't drink milk and soda makes my heartburn worse. i guess i will try some tums.
