When you did you completely stop giving puree's and only give finger foods? I'm thinking we are at that stage, but i'm still having trouble with what to pack for lunch at the babysitters. The puree's are just easy, lol. What else can I give for breakfast beside the oatmeal & fruit. Again she is at the babysitter so cooking an egg might be a stretch. Dinner is easy its the rest of the day that is a PITA.
Re: s/o puree's: when did you completely stop
breakfast: banana and some cheerios. waffle. cereal bar
lunch: grilled cheese (make it the night before). slice of turkey, slice of cheese, crackers. hot dog, goldfish, mandarin oranges.
we stopped purees at about 7.5 months

For breakfast I send mini pancakes and waffles. I think I am going to start sending turkey sausage too.
Lunch is my downfall, I never know what to send. I have been sending chicken nuggets and turkey meatballs. I also send Rtiz whole wheat crackers with cheese.
Exactly.... she wants to do it herself now so spoon feeding has become a chore, lol!
I stopped at 8ish months
Bfast - banana, rice cake or waffle and yogurt
Lunch - 1/2 grilled cheese or 1/2 dozen cheese ravioli, mixed veggies - brocolli, cauliflower and carrots, mandarin oranges or canned peaches
Snack - handful of mini saltines and slice of cheese or mini saltines/goldfish and applesauce.
Dinner is sometimes a repeat of lunch or whatever we're having.
I might need to try the turkey meatballs for lunch too. She likes ground beef, so maybe I'll start making her some meatballs to take too.
