And, what is so great about her deserts? Any bozo can slap some crumbled cookies on ice cream and drizzle it with caramel.

I have one of her cookbooks and there isn't one recipe in it I would make. How sad.

One time I saw her telling women how they needed to indulge every so often on affordable things that made them feel good-I thought "Yea, something positive!"  Then she recomended this 300$ dress and some "cheep" Costume jewelery that was around $100 and all I could think was:

A-that is more than an entire paycheck  some weeks for me

B-Rachel Ray has a VERY skewed idea of what is "affordable" for the rest of the world

And I hated her.

I made a meatloaf of hers before at it was delish.  But other than that all of her cookbooks suck.

She uses too many processed ingredients for my tastes.

I used to buy her magazine religiously. I don't even bother anymore. Like you said, none of her recipes seem appetizing.

If you look at the pics in her mag it's just glorified regular food with big names!!!
