Eve has never fallen asleep while playing and never napped in her crib during the day..

And she is now just about asleep surrounded by a mountain of toys in her crib.

As long as they don't interfere with her nap...then why not?

Evan moves around so much that if he were to hit something (esp something that had music or some other noise) he would wake up and not take as long of a nap.

I don't think there are really any bad habits...there are just habits that you don't mind and those you do. So if you don't mind - then I would go for it.
