Um... is this too much bleeding? (TMIish question)

As you all know, since I've been b!tching about it non-stop, I have my first pp AF.

It's miserable.

I know it's "supposed" to be heavy - but I feel like the amount of bleeding I'm having is insane.  In the past 24 hours, I've been soaking through a super tampon every 45 minutes.  Last night I soaked through a super tampon and an overnight pad in two hours.  I ended up stuffing my underwear with one of Topher's diapers just so I could go to bed. 

Is this too much bleeding? This is much heavier than my immediate pp bleeding - or any period I've ever had.

Have you called your doc?  My first couple ones were pretty heavy but not like you're describing.  I'd definitely call.  Good luck!

I haven't called yet.  I don't want to overreact to this - since I know the first AF is supposed to be heavy... I don't know if this amount of "heavy" is normal or not.

Is this your first day of it? My first day was pretty heavy and I sort of freaked out, but then the following days it was pretty light.  I'd call to be on the safe side and just get their opinion

soaking every 45 minutes sounds like a lottt. I would call.  Is the first or second day of your period?  Might just be realllllllly heavy for a bit, but it's probably better to call

Mine are really heavy as well, and the first one was a doozy, but nowhere near what you're describing.  It can't hurt to call.  Do it now while they have office hours.

And this is the second week! The first week it was super light, and then starting on like Sunday it started getting heavier and heavier.
