This morning I got a call that my best friend had a pulmonary embolism last night. She has 4 clots in her lungs and a couple in her legs. She's in the hospital for a while. Then I called my dad to tell him about my best friend and he informs me my mom may have cancer. WTF! I am at a loss this afternoon. Not sure what to do with myself. I can't call my mom because dad made me promise not to say anything. She didn't want us to know until they know for sure when the results come back. I want to take the day off tomorrow, but I have a huge event coming up on Thursday night. I feel helpless. Thanks for letting me vent.
