Were you a picky dater?

I refused to date anyone shorter than I am or more than a foot taller. I'm 5' 3". The shortest guy I dated was 5' 3.5" and I resented him for not being able to wear heels, I loved heels.

Also, when I joined JROTC, I refused to date anyone outside of the program or anyone with long hair.

I guess I was a bit picky.

    I had some firm rules and then some preferences. They had to be my age or older, they had to be taller, and they had to be a Christian. I was way into guys who could play guitar and sing. BTW, my husband does *swoon*

    Not really. As long as I found them attractive, that was my only physical criteria. I liked a lot of different looks for guys. I was a bit boy crazy back in the day.

    In some ways yes, other ways no.  He had to have all the normal boxes checked (he does not live with mom, has job, car, blah blah...).  But I just think of some of the losers or EGO-MANIAC men I dated, and I'm so mad at myself for ever giving them the time of day.  Thinking about them makes me so proud to be with DH.  I feel so lucky.

    Me too. 

    I liked guys who were 6ft or taller, in good physical condition, no long or shaggy hair, no facial hair.

    I tended to date rodeo guys and ended up with a city boy who hates horses lol.
