Anywhere around the state.  Except Fredericksburg (my parents live there, so they go there all the time).

It's not too far away --Glen Rose. I'm sure there are much nicer, better places, but this one is close enough to leave Colton but far enough to be away.

Jefferson in East Texas is perfect for a weekend getaway and I recommend the Delta Street Inn.  My husband and I just went 2 weeks ago and loved it!
