Fig Newtons - junk food or semi-healthy?

I agree, in the middle.  DD does get them from time to time.

I think junk. But, my health nut gma used to give us those, so they must have something in them. This is the same gma that would take us out for milkshakes at the health food store

Middle of the road, leaning toward junk.

I don't like the HFCS and trans fats (hydrogenated oils), so I give him Trader Joe's "This Fig Walks into a Bar" thingies instead.

Newman's Own has a good version without all the preservatives, etc. DS gets those every now and again. They are yummy!

In the middle - they have fiber and my DS could use all the fiber he can get.

 They love the TJs versions too.  I should buy crates of those.

i say semi-healthy snack - which i guess is in the middle.  as far as a cookie goes, it is a good one.  we do the TJ version here when we get them.

Ditto annapolis--certainly not healthy, but not awful, but I also avoid HFCS and buy natural ones.

Personally, I think they're junk, unless you buy the natural ones w/o HFCS.
