How's the baby book coming along?

Or maybe you have some alternate way of organizing memories and milestones for LO?

I'm so bad and haven't transfered anything from my calendar to a baby book yet.  I have no good excuses- I need some motivation

Re: How's the baby book coming along?

  • I'm a scrapbooker, so that's how I plan to keep up with things. Problem is, I haven't been able to touch my stuff in a few months, and my room and supplies are a complete disaster. I miss it, though. I'm hoping once DH and I organize the basement and make a play area for DS, I'll be able to spend more time down there.

  • I've actually done pretty well with the big milestones in the baby book.  I keep it next to my bed and when I have a few minutes before bed every once in a while I'll browse through to see if I need to update anything.  It's not like I run to get it out whenever something happens!  The thing I've loved is having a calendar in his room.  Even small things I can just go jot it on the calendar, like "Tried ___ and loved it" or "Learned how to take your pants off on your own."
  • Her milestones are recorded..I try to do it once a month, or if something "big" happens..  but there isn't a single photo in the thing. I take a million pics and print NONE of them..
