When did your LO master the Binky?

Layne loves the comfort of her binky but will suck, suck, suck and then push it out and cry. I know this is a learning process for her but when did your LO figure out how to keep the binky in?

Maybe try a few different brands? Eve kind of did that with the soothie pacifiers when she was itty bitty..that is the brand I thought I wanted to use.. but when she was 2 or 3 weeks old, I decided to get out some of the other binkys we got from our shower.. she did MUCH MUCH better with the NUK ones.

about 7 weeks....sort of.  she still pushed it out so we propped it up for her.  Now at 9 weeks she can keep it in.  Only the AVENT ones work though.  We tried soothies, gum drop, mam, and one other.

He is starting to get it now!  He always spits it out though when he goes to sleep, it cracks us up, it is how we can tell he is really out!  Though I had a bunch of different kinds and he will only take the mini mams, spits every other one out and gets furious, lol!

When we switched brands!!! Tried soothies and gumdrops, and he could never keep them in. Avent worked for a little while, but still constantly fell out. We switched to Mam's and love them!

I think every LO is different obviously, so I would try a couple different ones!
