I am high risk and have been the entire pregnancy. My son was born at 34 weeks and with this pregnancy I have had three epsiodes of PTL where I was hospitalized overnight. I am taking Procardia and my last day of it is tomorrow. I am at work today because I am # 1 feeling fine, and #2 what the hell am I going to do, sit in my house until the baby comes! I am so sick of people at work asking me, "Why are you still here? Shouldn't you be home if you could deliver soon." Um lets see should I lock myself in doors until the baby decides it is ready. What if that is another 3 or 4 weeks! UGH I could scream!

I know! We have FMLA here and I won't get paid for the 12 weeks I take. I would rather spend those 12 weeks with my baby then home alone.
Seriously! At my job, we're allowed to take off as much (unpaid) time as we need, but I'd rather wait and take 8 weeks off when the baby is born. And I know I'll get bored staying home at this point. DH told me to "take up knitting" if I'm bored, but he wants me done working. LOL! (I really do want to learn how to knit though!)
This morning I heard "Oh, dang! I was hoping you wouldn't be in today cause you had the baby!"
Yeah, you and me both. Thanks for the reminder that I'm still here.
