Has anyone gotten a rocker / glider from Target?

I just bought the Allison rocker online and afterwards my mom and husband made me feel terrible for getting a rocker instead of a glider...

1st question: any reviews from bumpies on Target rockers?

2nd question: how do you feel about rockers vs. gliders?

    Don't feel bad! I sell lots of rockers to folks who either don't want or don't like gliders. Some people are also made motion sick by glider chairs.

    We got our glider from Target and I love it.  The deciding factor on this one was our cats- they have a tendency to wind up in the wrong place, and I didn't want to worry about rocking over their tails!!  The glider is nice because they really can't get INSIDE of it (nor have I seen them even attempt it!)  

    But if I was spending the money myself (we got ours as a gift) and didn't have the cats, I would've just gone with a traditional rocking chair (which I LOVE the look of!)
