Shooting pain in lower back/butt area ...

Today I've been experiencing a shooting pain in what I can best describe as my upper left butt area. I feel it most when I'm walking around, and find relief when I bend over at the waist and have my hubbo massage the area really hard.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what this could be? Would it be safe to use a heating pad? Or any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated. TIA

  • Sciatic pain. You can use a heating pad. They help :)

  • I've had that too for weeks. My ob gave me a muscle relaxer but it didnt help. The only thing that works for me is to have DH rub it for a while, but nothing takes it away permanently. Sorry! Hopefully you can find a fix.
