questioning suction power on pump

Since this morning I have been producing less milk that normal and have noticed that the suction power is a little lower, What do I need to replace on my Medela PISA pump? Do I have to replace those round white things..membranes? Anything else I have to replace. I have been pumping for 6 weeks 7 times a day. Thanks so much!

Re: questioning suction power on pump

  • According to their customer service, the membranes should be replaced every 4-5 weeks.  Also, they should also be very dry when using or it can make the suction less powerful.

If you call customer service, they will mail you new ones!  Otherwise, you can buy them for cheap anywhere medala parts are sold.
