We're home from the hospital
and Marino is doing much better. He is now "a happy wheezer" as our pedi calls it. They officially diagnosed asthma in the hospital and said it was a viral cold that caused the pneumonia. It was so scary it started from nothing - he literally went from having sniffles in the morning to have chest retractions by 4pm. Argh. Preemie lungs suck, but I'm thankfully my boy is ok and we can treat him at home. We have to stay inside until Tuesday and I'll probably be a lot more careful this winter than I was originally planning.

I'm glad he's doing better and that you are home! I hope the rest of getting better part goes quickly.
Will you be able to get synagis for him? It sounds like he needs it.
So glad you're home and he's doing better.
The preemie lung thing sucks. Both times Robbie's had wheezing issues it's been "just a cold."
