MIL just dropped these by the house with a card -- so sweet of her (our 1st wedding anniversary is tomorrow).

How can you not love these autumn-y colours?! They cheered me up so I wanted to share.

I was surprised at how my parents and both grandparents have acknowledged our anniversary with cards or gifts - really sweet!

Not sure if it's tradition in the UK, but we have our wedding cake in the freezer - need to take it out so we can have a bite tomorrow!

And yes, they celebrate that same tradition here, only, we had a small ceremony (his parents, SIL & BIL) and then just a nice meal...so no wedding cake unfortunately.
