CD folds

OK, so I bought and washed my prefolds and I'm ready to begin!!! I'm sooo excited, but I don't know if there is any other way that is better to fold the diaper other than the reg. (bikini???) fold. Any recommendations? I've seen the twist as well, but I have no idea when to do these folds. Do you do different ones at night? Different ones during the day? Do some keep the baby drier than others? (sorry so many questions!)

Also, I bought some hemp overnight soakers and I am assuming I put those on top of the prefolds, correct?? To keep baby's skin dry? I'm still figuring out the kinks!

We use the jelly roll.  We tried the angelwing fold but it didn't work for us
