Writing Companies for Coupons?

I've heard before that some people will write companies (Huggies, for example) an email and that they are usually sent some very good coupons from the companies.  

Someone - I can't remember where I read this - even kept a spreadsheet and wrote the company every three or four months.

If any of you have ever written a company to get coupons, my question is... what do you write?

"Hi, I like Huggies.  Can I have some coupons?"

I emailed both Lansinoh & Medela to request samples of nursing pads &  they both sent a bunch of samples from cream to pads to nipple wipes - I highly suggest you give it a try.

Also tried Weil Baby (for a sample bottle) and they sent me a $5 cupon instead - can't win em all I guess!

But I'd love to also know the cupon secret if anyone can PM me too that would be great!!
