Losing voice. Can it be attributed to Croup ending?

P was diagnosed with Croup last Sunday. He has been on a Steriod since Monday and yesterday was his very last dose. I didn't give him his prescribed decongestant last night either (just to see how he would do). He coughed a couple of times during the night (but never woke up from it). This morning and even now (a few hours later), he is talking like he has been screaming at a concert all night. Very hoarse sounding. Is this a sign that the croup is on it's way out. He is rarely coughing during the day and like I said only a couple of times last night.

Just wondering if I have to worry about him coming down with something different now :-(

Both times L has croup, he didn't lose his voice.  But that's not to say P is coming down with something.  I would call your pedi and see what they say.
