Although Im not far along we have already been talking names. For a boy we have pretty much settled on Virgil Rendell. Virgil being my fiance's grandpas name who passed. And Rendell is my fiance's middle name and his fathers middle name. I think we will have the child go by Rendell though. Just wanted thoughts on the name or possible middle names. We will keep Virgil no matter what but are willing to change up the middle name.
I love the name Scarlett for a girl, still got to get the fiance on board with it lol. But was wondering about a middle name? I was thinking Lynn or Rae but Im not sure. Any thoughts?
Oh the last name would be Davis so keep that in mind. Thanks
Re: Opinions on these names
I might go with something a little less unique for a middle name with Virgil though Rendell isn't terrible. I like that your honoring family.
I love Scarlett Rae!

Scarlett Rae is a beautiful name!
I'm not a big fan of your boy's name, it's really not my style, but I like that your honoring family. Do you have any other choices for a boy?
I don't like Virgil at all-sounds like "virgin" or "vigil". IMO it'd be best to keep that one as a middle name. I can't imagine a kid NOT getting teased with this name. I understand that it has family significance, but still.
Rendell is ok. Dell would be a cute nn.
I like Scarlett Rae.
Love Scarlett Rae, like the others.
Your boy's name is nms, but honoring family, so it works. I taught a Virgil. He went by VJ.
Scarlett Rae is cute.
Not sold on Virgil Rendell. Both are ok as middle names, neither works for me as a first name. The combo, for me, leans to sounding more feminine than I would prefer.
