Most of DS's 2T pants are too small/short for him now. So he is in 3Ts. Since they have the adjustable waist, it works because they are a good length on him. He is still wearing 2Ts on top mostly--the 3Ts are still a little too big. He wears 7.5-8 in shoes. He is 2.5.
My twins are in a 4/4T, for both tops and bottoms. DD can do some 3Ts for dresses if it's with tights/leggings, but usually they are still too short. They are wearing 10.5/11 for shoes.
I have some big ones Actually, they aren't that big... just TALL!

My girls are wearing a combination of 2T and 3T in shirts and sweaters (although one of my girls in on the skinny size and still can fit into somethings as small as 12-18 months). They wear 2T for pants - they need them for length. I get the kind with the adjustable waist because my string bean needs them on the tightest setting. For shoes they wear an 8 and a 9.

Re: What sizes does your 2.5 yr old DC wear
DS will be 3 in December.
He's wearing both 3T and 4T pants, 4T tops, and size 10.5 shoes. I have bought all 4T winter clothes, and size 11 shoes for later this winter.
He's just about 40 inches tall and weighs 33 lbs.
DS - December 2006
DD - December 2008
